K-9 Nose Work

Canine Nose Work is a class for ALL DOGS.  Any breed that wants to have fun can participate.  Older dogs, shy dogs, and reactive dogs are welcome to come to class to “use their nose”.  In these classes your dog can use their “sniffing” instinct, gain confidence, and build a positive outlet for energy.  These classes are fun and positive for you and your dog.  No previous training experience is needed to get started in Nosework.  Everyone starts with Nosework 1, moving onto NW2, next is NW3, and then the Introduction for Travel Classes.  After satisfactory completion of those classes you can move onto travel classes with Anke.

Anke King, CNWI™ has a unique multifaceted approach to working and living with dogs and over 30 years of experience training dogs in conformation, obedience, herding, agility, protection and now K9 Nose Work®.  Over the years, Anke and her dogs  have gained respect at both national and international levels.  She has competed at national invitational agility trials and the World Championship in Slovenia.  Since 2006, Anke has managed the daycare program at Waggin' Tails Junction. In addition Anke has earned the distinction of CNWI (Certified Nose Work Instructor) with the NACSW (National Association of Canine Scent Work). www.K9Bondz.com

All Nose Work classes cost $175 for a six week session. The schedule of classes is as follows: 

Nose Work Level 1: Wednesdays 6:30pm - 7:30pm. 

Nose Work Level 2: Wednesdays 7:45pm - 8:45pm

Nose Work Level 3: Wednesday 9:00pm - 10:00pm

Advanced Intro to Travel Class: Monday 6:30pm - 8pm and 8pm - 9:30pm
